Glasslined Flush Valves

Southern Glasslined Equipment introduces its line of new glasslined flush valves. These valves are designed for 150psi at 500 degrees F.

Firing Valves

Our flush valves are lined with corrosion-resistant glass fused to a rigid, strong steel substrate. The one piece head and stem assembly is honed at the sealing surface for self-sealing against a PTFE seat. Chevron shaped packing rings seal the valve stem area.

The glass is durable, nonstick, and inert to a wide variety of acids and alkalis. Since there is no exposed metal inside the valve the most powerful corrosives have no effect on the valve.

Features:

We offer 3 valves presently;

a. 1 1/2" x 2",

b. 3" x 2", and

c. 4" x 3"

4"X3" Flush Valve

Valves with additional sizes to include;

a. 6" x 4" and

b. 8" x 6".

Flush valves may be back-charged to allow diffusion or sparging of gas into the reactor.

The manual flush vale provides a less expensive yet reliable long lasting alternative  to pnuematic valves where speed of operation is not a priority.

The body is cast steel. Each valve is lined with glass 0.045" - 0.050" thick. Valves are pressure tested, spark tested and glass thickness mapped. The detailed inspection report is shipped with the valve.

Valves are typically in stock for immediate shipping. With our introductory offer we are offering valves at the following prices:

1 1/2" x 2" Glasslined Flush Valve
2" x 3" Glasslined Flush Valve
4"x 3" Glasslined Flush Valve

 Valve Reconditioning

In addition to new valves we also provide valve reconditioning services. We can reglass and recondition damaged valves with significant savings over replacement costs.

BEFORE

 AFTER

 Each valve undergoes a detailed inspection prior to initiating work. The inspection document and quotation is sent to our client for approval.

Each valve is sandblasted to bare metal.  The valve and stem a included in the enameling process. We apply our chemical resistant glass to a thickness of 45-55 mils. Once the the desired thickness is achieved we spark test all components at 15,000 volts.

The valve is then assembled with clean parts. Worn or failed parts are replaced. The assembled valve is placed in a fixture to undergo a full pressure test prior to shipment. Every valve must pass a 100 psi pressure test in order to ship.
